Nutrition ideas and what you eat before a race:
Battered fish and chips ... Oh yeah throw in some potato scallops!
What is your training schedule?
A normal weeks training for the Ocean Ski races this winter has built to about 100 - 120km per week of paddling and if I can fit it in around work I like to get in at least one run or bike ride and a maybe a swimming session. If I am training for a sprint season I will throw in some gym about 3 times per week, drop the miles back on the ski and drop the swimming session.
What is your strength?
What you need to do to improve?:
Early morning sessions - I avoid them like the plague ... gentlemen's hours only for me! I can't say I'm a big fan of the cold weather either.
